Victoria Riello empowers young adults through her work at CISV International, a global organization dedicated to educating and inspiring action through their international education programs. Currently a law student at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Riello hopes to use her platform as an Eisenhower Youth Leader to learn and share best leadership practices with a robust network of global trailblazers
“First and foremost, I believe investing in youth leadership is the best way of achieving long-term community goals. The youth of today is the generation that will need to confront very sensitive and hard issues, such as the decaying of our environment, and the crescent wave of various forms of extremism, to name a few. Thus, empowering young adults to rethink our paradigms and to take action to bring about change means securing and advancing a global agenda that takes into account all communities and peoples through a generation that will be heading the world`s main institutions in the next 30-40 years.”
