Ireland 2020
A project specialist at the Centre for Effective Services, Caitlin Allen works to improve outcomes for people across Ireland by bringing the best evidence into policy and practice. Her work includes evaluations, facilitation, and implementation support with charities and government agencies such as Ireland’s National Office for Suicide Prevention and the Health Service Executive. She is passionate about understanding the factors that enable social change, and has researched progress towards LGBT+ equality in Ireland in both her undergraduate and master’s degrees.
“Being part of the network of Eisenhower Fellows and receiving mentorship would enable me to absorb a wealth of ideas and experiences. With this learning, I could confidently take the next steps in my career and work on being an effective leader for other young people seeking to make positive change.”
