Nate Jo, 25, a 2022 graduate of Western Washington University, is passionate about housing policy reform. As a policy advisor in the office of the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Jo helped build an innovative, cloud-based monitoring tool that expands access to capital for disadvantaged entrepreneurs. A former Congressional intern, he also volunteered with The Trevor Project, a crisis-intervention group, to provide suicide-prevention counseling for LGBTQ youth. On scholarship at Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government he will study how the United Kingdom administers low-income housing assistance.
