Brazil Fellow Promotes STEM Education

2007 Eisenhower Fellow from Brazil Dr. Marcelo Knobel visited NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, on November 13, 2013 as part of a delegation of visitors from the São Paulo Research Foundation – FAPESP. Dr. Knobel met with fellow Eisenhower Fellows (all from North Carolina) Raj Narayan, ’08; Anita Brown-Graham, ’05; Rob Burns, ’11; and Jane Cox, ’03, and spoke to a group of education leaders on "STEM: Education Challenges and Opportunities”. Narayan and Brown-Graham hosted the event through their respective organizations: The Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science and the Institute for Emerging Issues.
